Creating Questioners

With today’s high stakes testing, many teachers have abandoned the notion that creativity plays a part in education. In today’s world, Fortune 500 companies are looking for people who are innovators, problem-solvers, and able to answer questions we’ve yet to ask. So: how do we make room for creative thinking in classroom spaces where relentless rigor is the way of life? One strategy is to create a creativity-friendly classroom where students are encouraged to ask questions. Students need to feel comfortable to wonder.
